Amitabh Bachchan Health HIGHLIGHTS: Four members of the Bachchan family have tested positive for Coronavirus, sending shockwaves across the film industry and among fans. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are already undergoing treatment in Nanavati hospital in Mumbai. On Sunday afternoon, it was confirmed that even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have tested positive. The Public Relation Officer of the hospital issued a statement and said Amitabh Bachchan is stable with mild symptoms and is currently admitted in the isolation unit of the hospital. He has taken a good sleep last night and is currently stable. Another report by the hospital on Amitabh Bachchan's health has been released which said both the father and son are doing better than yesterday. Meanwhile, the BMC officials have sealed Amitabh Bachchan's residence Jalsa and have sanitised the area. Aishwarya , Aaradhya not required to get admitted in hospital as their symptoms are very mild, but since they have tested positive their treatment at home is more likely, says a BMC doctor.
While Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan continue to receive treatment at Nanavati hospital. It is not yet revealed whether Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya Bachchan will be admitted to the same hospital.
As per sources, both of them have mild symptoms of the disease. Will they be asked to quarantine at home and receive in-house treatment? Details shall follow.
Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare Maharashtra Rajesh Tope tweeted to inform that Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya Bachchan have also tested positive for Coronavirus.
Now, four members of Bollywood's biggest star family 'the Bachchan family' have been infected by Coronavirus. On Saturday night, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted to inform that he had tested positive for Coronavirus.
Soon after that Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted to inform that he has tested positive.
In the antigen test other members of the family, including Aishwarya Rai, Jaya Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan had tested negative. However, in the second test which was the swab test, Aishwarya Rai and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have tested positive.
It is to be noted that previously in the rapid test, both mother and daughter duo had tested negative.
However as per BMC assistant commissioner Vishwas Motey both Aishwarya and Aaradhya have tested positive in swab test.
The second report (swab test) reports of the three have come negative They will anyway have to stay in isolation for 14 days as per Covid-19 protocols.
Amitabh and Abhishek tested positive in the second test as well.
The statement may bring a relief to the thousands of fans who have been praying since morning for his betterment.

Aishwarya, Jaya and Aaradhya undergo swab test:
The Covid-19 antigen test reports of Jaya Bachchan, her daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and grand-daughter Aaradhya are negative, while swab test results are awaited. The swab-test reports are likely to be declared by 12pm today.
Amitabh, Abhishek informed about Covid-19 infection on Twitter
On Saturday evening, Big B had tweeted confirming he had tested Covid positive. "T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!" @SrBachchan had tweeted.
Soon after Bachchan's tweet, his son Abhishek Bachchan had tweeted to confirm that he too had tested Covid positive.
"Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for Covid-19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you," Abhishek, 44, had tweeted on his verified account, @juniorbachchan.
