New Delhi: Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan got engaged to her boyfriend Nupur Shikhare on Friday. As the star-studded ceremony created headlines, there was also a special moment from the ceremony which has been doing the rounds on social media. In the clip, we see Aamir Khan and his cousin Mansoor Khan groove to the classic track 'Papa Kehte Hain' from the film 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak'. Aamir had made his debut as the lead in the 1988 film directed by Mansoor. 


An inside video of the two has been doing the rounds on social media in which we see two dance together as Ira goads them to go on. Other attendees of the engagement party are also seen hooting and motivating Aamir to go along.


Aamir, 57, was seen in white beard and hair. He wore a beige kurta pajama. As the song 'Papa Kehte Hain' begins playing out loud, Aamir calls Mansoor to join him for a dance. Aamir Khan also emulated the steps from the song as family and friends goad them on.


 






Soon after the video was shared by a paparaazi account and also on many fan pages, fans flooded the comments section with, "Papa aur chacha lag rahe hain (looks like the father and uncle)! Why do we age!", "OMG! Aamir khan looks unrecognisable," “OMG is this Aamir Khan?” A comment also read, “I mean like seriously why are the youngsters so obsessed with 'budda buddi".


Ira happens to be Aamir's second child from his first wife, Reena Dutta.


Ira and Nupur Shikhare were engaged on November 18, 2022 among close friends and family. Ira had worn a red strapless gown while Nupur wore a suit.


Both Reena and Aamir's second ex-wife Kiran Rao attended the party. Aamir's sister Nikhat Khan, nephew and actor Imran Khan, his daughter Imara Malik Khan, mother Zeenat Hussain were also in attendance.
