New Delhi: Director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri addressed Priyanka Chopra Jonas's statements that she felt "conflict with people" and left Bollywood. He praised her as a "real-life star" and said that only an extremely small percentage of people ever give up and go on to create their own successful world.
Vivek tweeted a snippet of Priyanka’s interview with the following caption: "When big bullies bully, some kneel down, some surrender, some give up and leave, some take drugs, few have lost life too. Against this 'impossible to defeat' gang of bullies, very very few quit and make their own universe of success. Those are the real life stars."
Kangana Ranaut tweeted hours earlier that she was a "self made lady" who was forced to leave India. In her tweet, she accused Karan Johar of banning Priyanka Chopra. She wrote, "This is what Priyanka Chopra has to say about bollywood, people ganged up on her, bullied her and chased her out of film industry” a self made woman was made to leave India. Everyone knows Karan Johar had banned her."
In the next tweet, Kangana added, "Media wrote extensively about her fall out with Karan Johar because of her friendship with SRK and movie mafia Cruella who is always looking for vulnerable outsiders saw a perfect punching bag in PC and went all out in harassing her to a point where she had to leave India."
Priyanka said that she wanted to leave Bollywood, therefore she jumped at the chance to release her song. “So when this music thing came I was like ‘fu** it I am going to America’,” the actress said.
Priyanka Chopra originally revealed this to Dax Shepherd on his podcast Armchair Expert. She said that she was being ignored by the Bollywood industry.
