Vijay Deverakonda made his debut with Ravi Babu's romantic comedy 'Nuvvila', and gained recognition for his supporting role in 'Yevade Subramanyam' (2015). He established himself with films like 'Arjun Reddy', 'Geetha Govindam', 'Mahanti', among others. A recipient of many accolades, Vijay also won the South Indian International Movie Award for Best Actor (Critics) award in 2019 , among Filmfare awards for best actor.
Vijay also owns King of the Hill Entertainment, a film production company, which produced its maiden film 'Meeku Maathrame Cheptha' in 2019.
The Telugu superstar will next be seen in 'Jana Gana Mana', with Puri Jagannadh that is all set to go on floors in September. Currently, he is in Kashmir, shooting for the Shiva Nirvana directorial, co-starring Samantha.
