According to a Danik Bhaskar report, Santhok Singh who has been booked by Punjab Police following the rape charges allegedly raped the victim in his car at gunpoint. The Jalandhar based 40-year-old victim had reached Sukh Pradhan's house to meet her boyfriend. It was then when she accused him of raping her in his car at gunpoint.
Reportedly, the incident took place on May 14, but police registered the case days later on Tuesday(May 19) after the victim filed a complaint.
Reportedly, the accused is absconding ever since the case was registered.
