New Delhi: Actor Dhanush has been summoned by the Madras High Court after a couple claimed that the superstar is their third son. Reportedly, Kathiresan and his wife Meenakshi have alleged this stance earlier too.
The case has been ongoing for a few years now. Kathiresan allegedly moved the court that the actor forged documents of a fake paternity test. According to news reports, Kathiresan, who claims to be Dhanush’s real father has filed an appeal asking the court to quash the 2020 order which dismissed the case stating that there were no supporting documents to prove that his paternity test was forged.
The notice was issued after the Madurai Court rejected the plea and it went to Madras High Court.
The couple has alleged that Dhanish, their third son, had left their home to go to Chennai to pursue a career in the film industry. Kathiresan and Meenakshi reportedly sought Rs 65,000 monthly pension from the 'Atrangi Re' actor as his parents.
It has also been widely reported that Dhanush has denied all such claims by the couple on multiple occasions and the case has been pending before court for many years now.
According to an IndiaToday report, Dhanush has argued that he was born to Tamil filmmaker Kasthuri Raja and his wife Vijayalakshmi. This parentage controversy involved a DNA test which the court suggested. However, Dhanush and his team of lawyers refused the same. Dhanush did take a medical test for identification marks, the results of which proved inconclusive.
