New Delhi: Actress Sonali Bendre is all over the news with the release of her OTT series 'The Broken News Season 2'. Starring alongside Shriya Pilgaonkar and Jaideep Ahlawa, the series is available on ZEE5 to stream. In a recent candid revelation, Sonali Bendre opens up about the complexities of marriage, describing it as an ongoing journey rather than a destination.  In a podcast with Shubhankar Mishra, she also discussed the notion of being a ‘Power Couple’.

Sonali Bendre was asked about the secret of a successful marriage. For the unversed, the actress is married to filmmaker Goldie Behl. They've been together for almost 20 years, and the actress claims that putting in work is the key to their success.

According to Sonali, “Not just marriage, any relationship is a work in progress. I can tell it (my marriage) is so far so good and it's a work in progress.”

The actress advised that relationships need some hard work. She said, “You have to keep working at it. We work so hard for different things - careers and something else. What difference does it make even if you put a little hard work in a relationship?”

Sonali suggested that in the past, the idea of a "power couple" was not as prevalent or influential as it is today. She said, “If we talk about that time, this power couple was nothing. You could not do something major by becoming a couple. This is because of the media and I think this is a very recent phenomenon. I think for now I will reserve my comments. Let’s see how much this phenomenon plays out. If this is true then time will tell. The truth cannot be hidden.”
