'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' spin-off 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke', featuring Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma in lead roles of 'Abeer' & 'Mishti' respectively, went on-air in March this year and is making a mark in the TRP list. According to a Tellychakkar report, "The current track of the show revolves around Abeer’s father’s comeback in his life. Meenakshi doesn’t want Abeer to meet his father. Amidst the twists, Neelima Tadepalli and Manu Malik might enter the show."
