New Delhi: Star Plus’ popular show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has been entertaining the viewers since the last ten years. The show starring Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi has kept the fans hooked on to their television sets with its drama-packed episodes. At a time when daily soaps go off air in just six months, YRKKH has completed over 2800 episodes. The makers of the show are all set to bring a spin-off of ‘Yeh Rishta’ and the casting is going on in full swing.

We had earlier informed you that ‘Beintehaa’ fame Harshad Arora and ‘Tu Suraj Main Sanjh Piyaji’ actress Rhea Sharma have been approached to play the leads in the show.

Earlier in the day, we also informed you that ‘Piya Albela’ actress Chaitrali Gupte will play an important role in ‘YRKKH’ spin-off.

As per the latest buzz, another talented actor has joined the upcoming show. A report in a leading daily suggested that Tushar Khanna will play Harshad Arora’s younger brother in the show

“The story of the show will revolve around two brothers and two sisters. Harshad and Tushar, who will play siblings and will be poles apart from each other. While Rhea will be paired opposite Harshad, Kaveri Priyam has been cast to play Tushar’s heroine in the spin-off,” a source told Times Of India.


Interestingly, Tushar Khanna was seen as Mayank Kaushal in Zee TV’s ‘Piya Albela’. Chaitrali Gupte, who plays a crucial role in the spin-off of ‘Yeh Rishta’, was also part of ‘Piya Alebla’.
