New Delhi: Television actress Shivangi Joshi, who played the lead in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, recently took to Instagram to dispel speculation that she will be joining the cast of Star Plus's hit show ‘Anupamaa’. A lot of fans have been wondering who would be joining the cast for the show's big jump, so this news comes as no surprise.

Theories about the ‘Anupamaa’ cast have been circulating online for months. Some have speculated that the time jump is the reason why Aurra Bhatnagar, who plays Aadhya, the daughter of Anupamaa and Anuj, would be leaving the show. Several reports suggested Shivangi Joshi as a possible substitute for Aadhya as an adult.

Amidst the circulating rumours, Shivangi Joshi spoke to her admirers, saying, "Hi Everyone, There's been news of me being a part of Anupama. I thought I should clarify that I am not doing the show and put all rumours to an end. I also wish the team all the love and luck always."

A number of news sources have reported that other actors from the show are reportedly planning to leave. This follows Madalsa Sharma's and Sudhanshu Pandey's declarations about their exit.

Changes In ‘Anupamaa’ Plot

Rumour has it that the producers are reworking the plot for the forthcoming 10- to 15-year jump, putting more emphasis on main actors Gaurav Khanna and Rupali Ganguly and removing other members of the cast. The new characters are expected to join the show soon.

Aurra Bhatnagar, Kunwar Amar Singh, Nidhi Shah, Alpana Buch, Gaurav Sharma, Arvind Vaidya, and Kunwar Amar Singh are among the actors said to be leaving the program. But so far, no one from the show's creators or actors has addressed the persistent rumours.
