New Delhi: Star Plus’ popular show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has been entertaining the viewers with its drama-packed episodes since the past 10 years. The show starring Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan in the respective roles of Naira and Kartik is doing quite well in terms of TRPs. Popular TV actress Parul Chauhan, who plays the role of Suvarna Goenka, has quit YRKKH.


The ‘Bidaai’ actress didn’t wish to play the role of a grandmother as this point of her career and hence she has quit the show.

As per the latest buzz, the makers of ‘Yeh Rishta’ have finally found her replacement.

A report in an entertainment portal has suggested that Niyati Joshi has replaced Parul in the show. The actress has been part of shows like ‘Kumkum Ek Pyaara Sa Bandhan’ and ‘Saath Phere’.

Niyati will step into the shoes of Parul Chauhan, the report in India Forums said.

Niyati will also be seen in ALT Balaji’s web series ‘Boss – Baap of Special Services’. The series will feature Karan Singh Grover and Sagarika Ghatge in lead roles.


Talking about Parul, the ‘Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed’ actress is currently enjoying marital bliss. Parul got married to beau Chirag Thakkar on December 12 last year in a private ceremony.
