New Delhi: The shooting for all films, TV shows and ads has been halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Coronavirus outbreak has severely affected the functioning of many countries including India. The release dates of several films including ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘83’ and ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ have been postponed due to the lockdown. TV buffs are missing their favourite on-screen jodis as the GECs are currently airing repeat telecasts of the show due to lack of fresh content.


Popular TV actor Mohsin Khan, who is fondly known for playing the role of Kartik in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, treated his fans with a rehearsal video on social media. The video was enough to bring a cheer them up and take away their quarantine blues.

Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta’ is one of the most popular shows on Indian television. The show’s ardent fans have been eagerly waiting for the lockdown to end so that they can watch their favorite Kartik and Naira on their TV screens.

Mohsin shared a video in which he can be seen rehearsing with Shivangi Joshi aka Naira on the song ‘Chashni’ from Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Bharat’. The two had performed together on the same song on the premiere episode of ‘Nach Baliye 9’.



Several fans dropped hearts emoji in the comments section. They couldn't help but laud Shivangi and Mohsin's chemistry.

Mohsin and Shivangi are one of the most popular on-screen jodis and their sizzling chemistry in ‘YRKKH’ has made several hearts skip a beat. The popularity of ‘Yeh Rishta’ can be gauged by the fact the show has completed over 3000 episodes and is still going strong. The makers launched its show spin-off titled ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ last year in March 2020.
