Popular TV actress and dancer Mohena Kumari Singh, who is currently seen playing 'Keerti' in Mohsin Khan & Shivangi Joshi starrer long-running Star Plus show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', got engaged to beau Suyesh Rawat in Goa on 9th February this year. The couple, who is in a happy space, will soon take their relationship to the next level by getting married. The talented actress-dancer has finally announced her wedding date. Mohena is all set to exchange wedding vows with fiance Suyesh in October this year.

Reportedly, the couple will get hitched on 14th October in a grand wedding in Haridwar. It is a known fact that, Mohena in a princess in real-life as she belongs to a royal family of Rewa (Madhya Pradesh). In their royal family, a princess is getting married after 100 years which makes Mohena's wedding more special.

Confirming her wedding date, Mohena told a leading daily that, "The sangeet is on October 13 and the wedding will take place on October 14 in Haridwar. A reception and my bidaai will take place on November 9 and 10 in Rewa."

The couple's marriage is an arranged one as Suyesh's family first met ladkiwalas on a trip to Rewa.

Speaking about the same, Mohena said, "My brother told his brother about me. The families liked each other and here we are. I have always wanted an arranged marriage. I would have never got married to someone in the industry, as I don’t think that I would have found a like-minded person."

Talking about fiance Suyesh Rawat, Mohena further told TOI that, "He is very honest and never puts up an act. We always have deep and meaningful conversations. What strengthens our bond is our love for mountains, animals and the fact that we are both vegetarian."

On the professional front, Mohena rose to fame as a contestant 'Dance India Dance' season 3. Later, she made her acting debut in Channel V's popular dance show 'Dil Dosti Dance' opposite another 'DID' contestant Kunwar Amar and is currently basking getting appreciation for her her performance as 'Keerti' in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'.
