New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ is one of the most loved and popular shows on the small screen. The daily soap starring Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel has completed over 1700 episodes and is still going strong. The show, which airs on Star Plus, is doing a decent job in terms of TRPs. Speculations are rife that YHM will go off air in the month of June and the makers are planning to introduce season two of the show soon.

We had earlier informed you that Aakanksha Singh might play the female lead in ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ season 2. The ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’ actress will reportedly step into the shoes of Divyanka Tripathi for ‘YHM 2’.

As per the latest buzz, popular TV hunk Karan Vohra will play the male lead opposite Aakanksha Singh in ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein 2’. Yes, you heard that right.

Although, the final decision is yet to be taken, Karan Vohra has been shortlisted for the role.


A report in an entertainment portal suggested that the makers of ‘YHM’ are going a mature love story once again.

Karan Vohra shot to fame after playing the role of Shaurya in Zee TV’s ‘Zindagi Ki Mehek’ opposite Samiksha Jaiswal. His chemistry with Samiskha was appreciated by the fans.

Karan is currently playing the lead role of Veer Sahay in Star Plus’ ‘Krishna Chali London’. The handsome actor has managed to impress fans once again with her chemistry with ‘KCL’ co-star Megha Chakraborty.

“Apart from good acting, his chemistry with all his co-stars is one reason he keeps getting work,” a source told IWMBuzz.

It remains to be seen if Aakanksha and Karan will play the leads in season two of ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ or not.
