Actor Sumeet Vyas, who is basking in the success of his film 'Veere Di Wedding' opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, is in a relationship with 'Mere Angne Mein' fame Ekta Kaul in real life. After speculations regarding their engagement, the couple finally confirmed dating each other in April this year but denied the reports of getting engaged. Now the latest reports suggest that lovebirds Ekta and Sumeet are now all set to tie the knot very soon.

Reportedly,, the couple is ready to tie the knot in September this year in Jammu.

According to a leading daily, "Both their families met earlier this year and approved of the match. Sumeet’s mother accompanied the couple for the Veere Di Wedding premiere and the trio posed happily for the cameras."

Speaking about the same, a source close to the couple further told Mumbai Mirror that, “Ekta’s family, many of whom are based in Jammu, are preparing for a traditional Kashmiri ceremony. The final details of the wedding are being currently locked. The bride-to-be has been calling friends from the industry asking them to lock their dates for the mid-September nuptials.”

For the uninitiated, Summet Vyas was already married to actress Shivani Tanksale. The couple got separated in 2016. Whereas, Ekta was in a relationship with her 'Rab Se Sohna Isshq' co-actor Kanan Malhotra & they were set to marry each other. But they called it quits soon.

On the career front, Ekta is on a break after 'Mere Angne Mein' last year. Whereas, Sumeet's performance in 'Veere Di Wedding' was well-received & he is yet to announce his next project!
