New Delhi: A complaint was filed against Uorfi Javed on Monday for allegedly committing illegal and obscene acts in public places and on social media. According to PTI, the written applicated was submitted by lawyer Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh at Andheri police station on Friday.
Uorfi took to Instagram to react to the complaint filed against her, she wrote, “I don’t know how many more police complaints against me! Wow. I am amazed how people have no problem, or any kind of objection against people who openly threaten to rape me, kill me. You have a problem with me because of my clothes but not with men who rape and murder.”
She shared another video of her wearing an orange strapped top and mini skirt and wrote, “This is me in a restaurant, please use this video as evidence in court (my only request)”
Earlier in October, a complaint was filed against the social media influencer for her outfit in her music video 'Haye Haye Yeh Majboori'. In the video, we see Uorfi in an orange saree dancing in the rain with backup dancers to accompany her. The complaint was reportedly been filed for ‘publishing or transmitting of material containing sexually explicit act in electronic form’.
