Few days ago, 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi' couple Smriti Khanna & Gautam Gupta got engaged and now another TV artist has got engaged to her beau. TV actress Ekta Tiwari, best known for playing the lead role of ‘Radha’ in Star Plus show 'Tere Mere Sapne' as well as for her role a'God woman' in 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', got engaged to long-time actor beau Sushant Kandya on 14 June.

The two actors got engaged in a private ceremony attended by family and close friends. The two met during the shoot of 'Crime Patrol' and fell in love with each other.

Speaking about her love-story, Ekta told an entertainment portal that, "We did back-to-back seven episodes opposite each other in Crime Patrol, and before we realised we were in love. Nobody had to propose anyone, and even this engagement happened quite suddenly, it wasn't even planned. We are really happy and looking forward to a great life.”

Ekta also revealed her marriage plans and further told Tellychakkar that, “About marriage, I can only say, if we don’t get married till January-February, we’ll again leave it to the destiny. It’ll happen when it is meant to happen."

Ekta's fiance Sushant has also acted in TV shows as well as a Hindi film titled ‘Badlapur Boys’.
