TV actress Roop Durgapal, who has played pivotal roles in shows like 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi', 'Balika Vadhu' among others, was last seen playing a full-fledged role in &TV's 'Waaris' in 2017. Since then, her fans are missing seeing her on TV & here comes good news for them. Roop Durgapal is finally coming back on TV soon and is all set to enter Zee TV show "Tujhse Hai Raabta" featuring Reem Shaikh and Sheban Azim in lead roles.

Roop Durgapal will portray the role of a Maharashtrian woman, Ketki, in 'Tujhse Hai Raabta.

Confirming the same, Roop Durgapal told IANS that, "It is a very important and strong character. She starts liking Malhar (actor Sehban Azim) as she is his very close childhood friend. She meets him after several years under difficult circumstances."

"The length of the role does not matter to me much as long as what I am playing is vital and let me explore my acting abilities," she added.

Today (31st July), she took to her Instagram account and shared her first look from 'Tujhse Hai Raabta'. Posting the picture on Instagram, she wrote, "Coming soon... In a new role..new character Watch me in #tujhsehairaabta❤ on @zeetv tonight onwards at 8:30 pm mon to fri @tujhsehairaabta_official ❤ #roopdurgapal #lifeofanactor"

On the career front, Roop Durgapal has also been a part of shows like 'Baal Veer', 'Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur', 'Gangaa' among others. Singing is also keeping her busy these days. She often releases covers of hit songs, including "Main duniya bhula dungi" from "Aashiqui".

Coming back to 'Tujhse Hai Raabta', the Zee TV show started in September last year and is one of the most loved & popular shows on small-screen currently. Since beginning, the show is fetching high TRPs for the channel and is a regular among top-rated shows.
