New Delhi: Television actress Munmun Dutta, popular for her role as Babita Ji in the sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, celebrates her birthday today. The actress, who remains active on social media, treated her fans with some pictures from her birthday celebration with her family.
Sharing the post on her Instagram, Munmun Dutta wrote, “Another year around the Sun Blessed to be alive , wise and healthy Thank you all for your love and wishes Grateful heart Stay happy and blessed everyone”.
Earlier this month, the actress made it to the limelight when reports of her dating her co-star from ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ came out. The rumour of her dating Raj Anadkat sparked a meme fest and netizens started slamming the actress. Munmun, however, put an end to all the speculations when she shared a powerful note on her social media. Raj Anadkat also shared a statement on his behalf that read, “To everyone, who has been constantly writing about me, THINK of the repercussions that can happen in my life because of your ‘COOKED UP’ (false) stories and that too about my life without my consent. All the creative people out there please channelise your creativity somewhere else it will be helpful to you. May God bless them with good sense.”
Munmun Dutta later removed the post from her Instagram.
The ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ actress earlier also faced flak on social media over her casteist remark a few days back. The actress later apologized citing ‘language barrier’ as the reason.
