New Delhi: In 90’s when we had no ‘K’ serials, popular and meaning show were quite a hit back then. TV show like ‘Swabhimaan’ and ‘Shanti’ were one of the shows which are still remembered by people. So here is some good news for fans of 90’s serials.


TV serial ‘Swabhimaan’ which was directed by Vikram Bhatt, is making comeback on our screen after 21 years. As per news in Spotboye.com, “Rohit Roy is all set to revive Swabhimaan, the popular show that made him a household name in the '90s.”

Talking to Mid-day, actor of the show Rohit said, “Amit Khanna [producer] advised me to revisit the show, and I'm trying to put it together. It's a different storyline, with the original cast reprising their roles. We will have new actors playing our kids. The show will see a 20-year leap. I will be back as Rishabh Malhotra.”





Rohit also revealed that why they all waited for 20 years to work with Vikram Bhatt, and said, “We knew each other for long. When I was shooting for Swabhimaan [directed by Mahesh Bhatt], Vikram was working with Bhatt saab. His father Praveen Bhatt was the DoP of the show. However, when we tried collaborating, things didn't fall into place. But I am glad we've teamed up on something as special as Memories.”

The main twist in the show is that it will be back with 20-year long leap.

TV actress Kittu Gidwani, Anju Mahendru, Rohit Roy, Deepak Prashar, Abhimanyu Singh and Kunika played the prominent roles in the show.
