Sanjeeda Shaikh is super-excited for her Bollywood debut with the revenge drama. Speaking about the same, she told a leading daily that, "Everyone waits to work with a good filmmaker and I am glad I did that. My role is not an easy character, but a complicated one. We had to prep for it — normally in TV we don’t have preps and workshops, and I loved the whole process. What also attracted me to the film was the genre, it’s very interesting. It allows me to play a tough girl, something that I also aspire to be in real life."

Sanjeeda further told TOI that, "It’s my first Bollywood film and my fingers are crossed. My earlier film was with Shoojit Sircar, but owing to some complications, it didn’t release. I also got busy with TV, did a Punjabi film, and now I have this. So, it is technically my first Bollywood film and I want to give it my 200 per cent."
