New Delhi: TV actress Palak Sidhwani, who plays the role of Sonu Bhide in Sony SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has become a graduate.  Palak, a BMM graduate, was beaming with joy at her convocation ceremony held in Mumbai’s Jaihind College.

The actress, who replaced Nidhi Bhanushali as the new Sonu in ‘TMKOC’, shared a video on her Instagram story in which she can be seen dancing along with her classmates. Palak can be wearing the black graduation robe and hat in the video. A fan club of the actress shared the same on Instagram. Check it out!


Palak also posted a photo on her Instagram story in which she can be seen receiving the degree from her HOD.

A report in an entertainment portal suggested that the HOD Dr S Varalakshmi made special mention of her show ‘Taarak Mehta’ when her name was called out in the convocation ceremony.

"Vara ma'am was one of the first to know that I had been chosen to play Sonu. She has been aware how much I wanted to become an actor. She texted me back with a voice message. She was thrilled," Palak told SpotboyE.
