New Delhi: Gurucharan Singh, the 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' (TMKOC) fame actor, who went missing on April 22, has returned home after 25 days. The actor's absence created quite a stir on social media platforms. Speaking about his disappearance to HT, Singh said, "Mera abhi case close hona hai. Kuch formalities ho gayi hain, thodi bachi hain. Ek baar woh ho jaaye toh main sabse aaram se baat karunga iss baare mein.( My case is not yet closed. Some formalities are left while others are done. Once that is taken care of, I will open up to everyone about this).

Singh rose to fame after playing the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular TV show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'. When asked by HT what case he was referring to, Gurucharam Singh said, "Main jab gaya tha, mere daddy ne missing report daali thi. Woh close hona hai abhi. Ek baar woh ho jaaye to main baat kar sakta hoon. ( When I had left, my father had filed a missing persons report. That hasn't closed yet. Once that happens then I can talk).


Gurucharan left Delhi home for a Mumbai flight on April 22, 2024


Singh had been missing since April when he left his Delhi home to board a flight to Mumbai. Soon after his return on May 17, he was questioned by the Delhi police and his statement was recorded.

Earlier, the actor had said that he had reportedly taken a spiritual journey. 


Gurucharan Singh had returned home after being missing for 26 days. Upon his return, Delhi Police officials interrogated Singh and found out that he had undertaken a religious pilgrimage of visiting Gurudwaras in several cities, inluding Amritsar and Ludhiana, since he was reported missing. 


Eventually, Singh realised that he should return home.


Gurucharan Singh was last seen on April 22, 2024. He was supposed to take a flight from Delhi to Mumbai but he never reached the airport.
