New Delhi: TV actress Charu Asopa tied the knot with Rajeev Sen on June 16, 2019 in Goa in the presence of their loved ones. They got married according to Bengali and Rajasthani rituals. The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary a few days back. Model-turned actor Rajeev is the brother of Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen.


Gossip mills have been buzzing with the rumours that Rajeev and Charu are facing issues in their relationship. The two stars are reportedly not living together.

According to a report in a leading daily, Rajeev and Charu’s relationship has hit a rough patch. The ‘Mere Angne Mein’ actress has dropped Rajeev’s surname from her social media accounts while the former has blocked Charu from all channels of communication, the report added.

“Charu and Rajeev had serious compatibility issues right from the beginning. Things finally came to a head and Rajeev left for Delhi. The two have not been in touch since then. While Charu has dropped his surname on social media, he has blocked her from all channels of communication,” a source told Bombay Times.

Rajeev, while talking to the daily, said that he wouldn’t like to comment on the rumours. “No comments. I don’t want to talk about it. I am enjoying being in Delhi and am so much at peace,” the actor said.



Fans flooded Rajeev and Charu’s Instagram posts with their messages after the rumours of them living separately hit the internet.

Rajeev Sen, while speaking to another entertainment portal, clarified that he is in Delhi for work and there’s nothing more to the story.

"I’m just laughing over the news is all I can say. Just because I am in Delhi for my work, people are thinking that we have had a fight & are no more together- what a funny world we live in," Sen told SpotboyE.



On the professional front, Charu Asopa was last seen in 'Jiji Maa', which beamed on Star Bharat.
