It's a boy for TV couple, Sumeet Vyas and Ekta Kaul! The new daddy shared the happy news on social media revealing the newborn's name to fans. He wrote, “It’s a boy. Shall be called VED. Mamma and Daddy are acting cliché … smothering the child every few minutes…”

The couple announced that they were expecting their first baby with a sweet Instagram post in April.

Captioning the post, Ekta wrote on social media, "Proudly announcing our new project together. Introducing Jr Vyas Kaul (soon). Directed and Produced by US, Sumeet Vyas and I." (sic)


Earlier, on Tuesday, Ekta had shared an appreciation post for her husband. The actress posted a video collage comprising beautiful memories of the duo from their wedding, as well as vacation albums, and accompanied it with a sweet note. "Our world is about to change. But my life has changed because of you.

I am so thankful that we get to go on this ride together," wrote Ekta and added an adorable message. "So before all the screaming and diaper changing begins, I just want to say, Papa, you are beautiful. Thank you!" she added.
