Divyanka Tripathi starrer 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' will bid adieu to the viewers next month.

New Delhi: Star Plus is all set to launch the spin-off of ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ next month. Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel starrer ‘YHM’ will bid adieu to the viewers on December 18. The show will be replaced by ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ starring ‘Tantra’ actress Sargun Kaur Luthra and ‘Gathbandhan’ actor Abrar Qazi in lead roles. The promo of the show was unveiled two days back on social media. ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ will go on-air from December 19 at 10:30pm slot. The show will focus on the story of a single mother Trisha, who has adopted her sister’s son. In case, you are yet to see the promo, you can check it out right here! We had earlier informed you that ‘Sanjivani 2’ is under scanner. The show starring Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna couldn’t set the TRP charts on fire. Although, the channel is yet to officially confirm the development, speculations are rife that ‘Sanjivani 2’ will face the axe soon. The newly launched mythological show ‘Namah’ and ‘Divya Drishti’ are also under scanner. As per the latest buzz, another show is in danger zone. We are talking about ‘Nazar’. The supernatural show stars Niyati Fatnani, Harsh Rajput and Monalisa in lead roles. Despite airing at a late night slot, ‘Nazar’ has done quite well in terms of TRPs. Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that the show will go off air. According to a report in an entertainment portal, Star is waiting to see how Colors TV’s ‘Naagin 4’ featuring Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria and Jasmin Bhasin’ will fare in the ratings front, before taking any decision. The cast of ‘Nazar’ has not been officially informed about their extension of their contract, which is slated to end soon.  They have been asked to continue on ad-hoc basis.
“We have clocked over 350 episodes and are still going strong. I guess what works for us is the story, which even keeps us actors on the edge, wondering what will happen next,” Harsh Rajput told IWMBuzz.
The channel has several shows in pipeline and it remains to be seen if ‘Nazar’ will continue to entertain the viewers or the makers will pull the plug on it. Stay tuned for more telly updates!
