New Delhi: Sony TV is gearing up for the launch of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 11’ and ‘Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’. The channel has managed to beat the likes of Colors TV and Zee TV in the TRP race and is placed at the number two spot after Star Plus in the recent BARC ratings.

The channel is all set to axe ‘Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo’, which airs at 8:30pm slot. The show, produced by Kagaz Kalam Films, will bid adieu to the viewers in the month of July.

The show starring Srishti Jain, Namish Taneja and Neelu Vaghela was launched on September 11, 2018. A report in an entertainment portal has suggested that the ‘Main Maayke..’ will go off air on July 12.

The daily soap did a decent job but it couldn’t set the TRP charts on fire and hence the channel has decided to pull the plug on it.

‘Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo’ will air its final episode on July 12, the report in IWMBuz said.

It is rumoured that ‘Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’ might replace the show. There are also rumours that ‘Patiala Babes’ will get shifted to 8:30pm slot to make way for KBC 11.


Colors TV’s ‘Vish Ya Amrit Sitara’ will also go off air next month, as per reports. The show starring Adaa Khan and Arhaan Behl will be replaced by Vishal Vashishtha and Debina Bonnerjee’s upcoming supernatural show at the 10:30pm slot.
