When Bollywood actor Sonu Sood came to know about his plight, he promised to arrange transportation for Rajesh and his family. The ‘Dabangg’ actor called Rajesh and promised to send to him and his family members to Ludiana, Punjab.
Rajesh is not working since the past one year and hence wants to return to his native place. Sonu Sood has taken the responsibility to send him safely to Punjab.
Rajesh, while exclusively talking to ABP News, “Yes, Sonu Sood has taken the charge to send me and my family to Punjab. He called me yesterday and said, ‘Just inform me two days before you want to go Punjab, all arrangements will be made.’
Rajesh added that he has applied for his son’s school leaving certificate. “The moment I receive it, I will leave Mumbai and travel to Punjab with his family,” he said.
“After I shared a post on social media, several people deposited money into my account, which is enough for me. I will return to Punjab and start a small business, so that I can feed my family. I don’t have any property in Mumbai or Punjab and hence I have to start life afresh,” he said.
Rajesh, who lives in Naigaon, further said, “I had last worked for Ajay Devgn starrer Bhuj - The Pride of India. The shooting was concluded on July 30, 2019. Since then I haven’t done any work and earned no income. It is not possible for me to stay here due to the lockdown as I have no idea when the shooting will resume and also there is no guarantee if I will get work again.”
“I came to Mumbai to create a special place in the field of acting in Bollywood but I will always repent that I couldn’t create my own identity and financially secure myself. When Mumbai will call me and offer me work again, I will definitely come back,” he added.
Rajesh got teary eyed while saying, “I don’t want to live here and commit suicide.”
Rajesh Kareer has featured in several episodes of ‘Savdhaan India’. He played the role of Shivangi Joshi’s father in ‘Begusarai’. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress deposited Rs 10,000 into his account after she came to know about his situation. CINTAA also provided him ration and financial aid.
