A lot of TV actors have come forward to discuss their financial crisis in this pandemic situation of coronavirus. From almost 3 months now the shooting of TV shows and movies  at halt forcing many artists to stay at home without any work and for some struggling actors the situation has worsened so much that they are finding it difficult to survive in the situation.


One such actor is Rajesh Kareer who played Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai lead actress Shivnagi Joshi's father in the TV show Begusarai which also had popular small screen actors like Bigg Boss 13 fame Vishal Aditya Singh and Shweta Tiwari in main leads.


Sadly, the actor has also worked in popular films like Mangal Pandey, Agnipath 2 and many other TV shows in supporting roles but today he is facing a major financial crisis that is making it difficult for him & his family to even survive in Mumbai.

Sharing his plight in video message, Rajesh says, "I am an artist and hoping that a lot of people must be recognising me. If I will not say then this life will get very heavy on me."

"I really need help as my condition is not good. I have been staying with my family here in Mumbai from last 16 years. Since a long time I haven't got any work and now form last three months no shoots are happening and we even don't know when will it start.  If people can help me with 300-400 rupees each will also be of a great help as I want to go back Punjab. I want live and don't want to give up on life," he added.

Earlier, Zee TV's now off-air show 'Hamari Bahu Silk' actors too opened up about their financial struggles as the dues were not cleared by makers even after one year and lack of work due to Covid-19 crisis made their lives difficult.

Meanwhile, TV actors like Aadat Se Majboor fame Manmeet Grewal & CID fame Preksha Mehta ended their lives after struggling with dwindling finances amid lockdown.
