New Delhi: Popular TV actress Aditi Sharma, who is fondly known for playing the role of Mauli in ‘Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka’, welcomed a baby boy on November 16. Aditi and her husband Sarwar Ahuja are quite excited after the arrival of their son. The TV couple has named their newborn child Sartaj Auja. Coincidentally, Sarwar and Aditi’s son was born in the same month as their wedding anniversary. The two lovebirds tied the knot in November 2013 and they celebrated their sixth marriage anniversary last month.

Sarwar, who shot to fame after playing the lead role in ‘Jyoti’ opposite Sneha Wagh, shared their newborn child’s first picture on social media a few days back. He wrote a heartfelt post on Instagram while sharing the photo.

“Our Family grown by 2 feet.. a new beginning of all beautiful things.. wonder, hope, giggles, hugs, and dream of possibilities.. for now - our favourite reason to loose sleep.. welcoming our prince Sartaaj well done @aditidevsharma,” the caption for the post read.


Several TV celebs including Deepika Singh Goyal, Shakti Arora congratulated the new parents in the comments section.

Shakti, who played Aditi's on-screen husband in 'Silsila', commented, " A complete family. God Bless."

On the professional front, Aditi Dev has featured in films like ‘Black & White’, 'Mausam', 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' and 'Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami'. She was the winner of 'India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj’, while her hubby Sarwar was the winner in the male category. Aditi Dev Sharma also essayed the titular role in &TV's 'Gangaa'

Aditi received praises from the fans for her acting in Colors TV’s 'Silsila'. Although, the show couldn't rake in huge TRPs, Aditi and Drashti were appreciated for their performance.
