New Delhi: ‘Bigg Boss 16’ contestants Abdu Rozik and Shiv Thakare shared a great bond on the show and were part of the friend group that was called ‘Mandali.’ It has been more than three months since the show got over, but Abdu and Shiv’s friendship is still going strong. They are fondly called as Shibdu by their fans. The two took to Instagram and recreated the magic from the 1994 cult film 'Andaz Apna Apna' starring Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.
Abdu and Shiv shared a reel dancing to the iconic number 'Do mastane chale zindagi banane', which is originally picturised on Salman and Aamir.
In the clip, the two are twinning in monochrome clothes and are seen dancing in a hotel hallway and room.
The two captioned the clip, which currently has over 1.4mn views on the photo-sharing website: "#shibdu with a heart emoji".
'Andaz Apna Apna' is a comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. It stars Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Karishma Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, who is seen in a dual role and Shakti Kapoor.
Although the film was a semi-hit at the box office, it has emerged as a cult film over the years. The lexicon of the film has become part of everyday language.
On the work front, Shiv Thakare will be seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, he also recently opened a restaurant named ‘Thakare - Chai & Snack.’ Abdu on the other hand, is set to embark on a thrilling nine-city tour across India, starting on April 30.
Abdu's tour will start with his performance alongside A.R. Rahman in Pune and then he will be performing in different cities including Hyderabad, Kerala, Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Rajasthan, and Delhi.
Abdu has also planned the launch event of his first restaurant, 'Burgiir', on May 11 in Mumbai. He will personally meet and deliver burgers to customers.
