New Delhi: Shehnaaz Gill has become one of the most popular and recognisable faces in the entertainment industry today. The actor and social media star has recently made her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan starrer 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. After her debut in the Bollywood film, it is being said that the actor has begun taking acting classes. Recently, in an interaction with a publication, Shehnaaz admitted that the 'industry is not open' for everyone and that one has to make a place for themselves in order to flourish. Shehnaaz also admitted to taking acting classes in the interaction.
In an interaction with ETimes, Shehnaaz said, "Industry open nahi hoti, open karni padti hai. You have to work on yourself… apne aap ko change karke. Mere liye kuch bhi open nahi hai, main jo kar rahi hoon, apni mehnat se kar rahi hoon( Industry is not open, you have to open it. You have to work on yourself by changing yourself. There is nothing open for me. Whatever I am doing, I am doing it with hard work).
About her acting classes, she said, "I have been going to workshops. Aur jaise apko farak meri styling mein aaj kal dikh raha hai, meri acting mein bhi zaroor dikhai dega boht jald."( The difference you see in my styling these days will also be seen in my acting very soon).
Shehnaaz will next be seen in her next project which also includes veterans like Anil Kapoor. About him, she added, " It feels good to be working with an artiste of that stature. Even if you share a screen for two minutes with them, you get to learn so much. You should always look forward to such learning experiences."
Shehnaaz Gill became a household name after participating in 'Bigg Boss 13'. She and Sidhharth Shukla were a pair in the reality-TV show and were popularly addressed as 'Sidnaaz'. Recently, at 'The Kapil Sharma Show', Salman Khan had requested audiences to stop addressing Shehnaaz with that name and help her move on.
Shehnaaz Gill has featured in several music videos besides also being a part of the Punjabi film 'Honsla Rakh' which starred Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa in the lead. Meanhwile, Shehnaaz also hosts her talk show, 'Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill'.
