'Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki', featuring Rubina Dilaik in the lead role of a transgender 'Saumya', went on-air in 2016 and the popular 'Colors' show is still one of the most-loved daily-soaps on TV currently. Even after completing three years in May this year, 'Shakti' is still fetching good numbers and the show recently made a comeback in the weekly TRP list of top 10 shows. 'Shakti' recently took a leap due to which lead actor Vivian Dsena aka 'Harman' quit the show and latest buzz suggests that lead actress Rubina Dilaik might follow his footsteps soon.

According to an entertainment portal, Rubina Dilaik too might quit 'Shakti -Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki' soon.

Speaking about the same, a source told Pinkvilla that, "Shakti... will be taking a leap soon on the show, around November. Post that, Rubina will be making an exit as she doesn't reportedly want to play a mother so soon on-screen. The makers are planning to shift focus to their children's story post leap wherein Harman and Saumya's daughter will be shown as a transgender, and hunt for new faces are on for the same."

Rubina has reportedly denied the same however sources insist that this might happen. If this news turns out to be true then, Rubina's fans will surely miss seeing her as 'Saumya' in the show.

The talented actress broke stereotypes by playing a transgender in 'Shakti -Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki' and is getting rave reviews for her strong performance in the show since beginning.

Talking further about Rubina Dilaik, she made her acting debut with Zee TV's popular show 'Chhoti Bahu' and went on to feature in various popular shows like 'Chhoti Bahu 2', 'Saas Bina Sasural', 'Punar Vivah', 'Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev' among others.
