New Delhi: The new serial ‘Kawach’ on Colors is catching up quite decently. People are actually enjoying the show and the TRPs are skyrocketing. But still despite the positive reviews about Maheck Chahal’s character has received. The makers are replacing the actress. This is because of Mahek’s ligament tear and knee fracture just weeks before the launch. The actress tried to give her best despite that injury, but it’s becoming difficult for her to cope with the same. Due to her injury, she is not able to report to the shoot. According to TOI, the production house has roped in Sara Khan as the new Manjulika for the show.
And guess what Maheck is not aware of this development. According to what she told Bombay Times, “I'm not aware of this news. This show is important for me and I would have liked to continue. Of course, my health is priority. I want to meet the producer, Ekta Kapoor to update her personally about my status.”
