Machek Chahal was giving a spectacular performance as Manjaulika in Colors new show 'Kavach' but as per the recent reports, popular actress Sara Khan has been roped in to play the new Manjaulika.


Mahek who was more than excited with her debut on TV, was left with a hard time after she met with an accident, tearing a ligament in her leg.
The Balaji Telefilms’ erotic horror series was left in a lurch with Mahek aka the main antagonist Manjulika not in a position to shoot.

A source told TellyChakkar, "Mahek tried hard to be on her sets and continue with the shoots, but it was becoming really challenging for her. With TV demanding a 24X7 availability, Balaji decided on replacing Mahek. The buzz is that Sara Khan will now step into the role of the aatma. Kavach also stars Mona Singh and Vivek Dahiya in the leads.
