Earlier, ‘Bigg Boss 14’ was expected to go live from September 5. However, it now seems that there have been a major change in the schedule as sources reveal that due to heavy rains, the repair work of the set was affected and is not yet ready for the contestants. The source revealed to PinkVilla, “The channel and makers are forced to push the show by a month as the repair work of the set was affected due to heavy rains lashing Mumbai in the past week. The rains have delayed the repair work and the set is not yet ready for the contestants. Hence, keeping all the precautions and everything in mind, the reality show is now being postponed to October.”
Though nothing has been finalised yet, the same source disclosed that the makers are now planning to go live from October 4, 2020.
Also, owing to the current coronavirus pandemic, the makers of ‘Bigg Boss 14’ wats celebrities as the contestants who do not have any international travel history. The contestants also have to undergo 15 days of quarantine before entering the BB House.
The previous season of ‘Bigg Boss’ managed to set the TRP charts on fire and makers are hoping to re-create the magic again. TV’s heartthrob Sidharth Shukla lifted the winner’s trophy of ‘BB 13’. The other finalists were Asim Riaz, Shehnaaz Gill, Rashami Desai, and Arti Singh.
