Sony SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has won the hearts of the viewers with its comedy episodes. Ardent fans of the show are quite happy to see their favourite characters on the small screen after three-and-a-half months of lockdown. However, the popular sitcom is undergoing significant changes in terms of character replacements.

Last week we had informed that Gurucharan Singh, who plays the role of Sodhi in ‘TMKOC’, has quit the show due to his father's health condition. Actor Balwinder Singh Suri, fondly known for playing the role of Shah Rukh Khan's friend in the film ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, has now stepped into Gurucharan’s shoes and is now playing the role of Sodhi in the show.
And now, another actor in ‘Taarak Mehta’ has got replaced. We are talking about Neha Mehta aka 'Anjali bhabhi' who has decided to quit the show after 12 years. Going by the reports, Neha did not shoot any new episode post-COVID-19 lockdown as she has bagged another project.
As per the latest buzz, TV actress Sunayana Fozdar will be seen playing the role of Anjali Mehta, the wife of Taarak Mehta. According to a Times of India report, Sunayana Fozdar, who was earlier seen in shows like Kabul Hai, Ek Rishta Partnership Ka, And Belan Wali Bahu, has already started shooting for the show.
