New Delhi: Putting all the speculations to rest, television actor Rubina Dilaik and her husband Abhinav Shukla have confirmed that they are expecting their first child. The couple shared the update with their fans through Instagram.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Rubina and Abhinav shared a a few pictures of themselves with the caption, “We promised we will TOGETHER explore the world since we started dating , got married and now will do ❤️AS A FAMILY 🧿❤️ welcoming the LITTLE Traveller soon!”
In the pictures, Rubina can be seen showing off her baby bump wearing a black T-shirt, matching trousers and a grey cardigan. Abhinav wore a white hoodie and blue denims. They completed their look with sunglasses and sneakers. They are seen posing on a cruise.
Their celeb friends from the industry congratulated the couple on the post. Jannat Zubair wrote, "Yaayyy mashallah ❤️🧿." Simple Kaul wrote, "Awwwwww happy happy birthday. What a lovely news this is. Love to both of you."
Chetna Pande commented, "Awwww M crazy 🥹… congratulations Mama to be 🐣❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️… you guys 😍."
Earlier, Hindustan Times had confirmed Rubina's pregnancy quoting its source as saying, “It is true that Rubina and Abhinav are expecting their first baby. She is over four months pregnant and will deliver early next year. They are very happy and excited to embrace motherhood. They want to keep the pregnancy away from the spotlight and enjoy this new phase of their life in privacy”.
Rubina was also reportedly offered a fiction television show but she declined the offer because of her pregnancy.
The pregnancy speculations started when the couple was spotted outside a maternity clinic. Rubina had then put all speculation to rest after she took to Instagram to clarify, "Misconception about the conception...@ashukla09, next time we will have to check the building( if it has any clinics) before agreeing to go even for a work meeting."
