New Delhi: Raftaar spoke about 'The Kapil Sharma Show' on a live stream with the YouTuber Dank Rishu. The rapper voiced his opinions about Mafia Mundeer, a group that has since disbanded, and made multiple subtle jabs at Yo Yo Honey Singh. Because he spoke so much, Dank Rishu allegedly had to air that stream live. In one of his candid discussions with Rishu, Raftaar stated that he didn't find any practical use in Kapil Sharma's show.

Additionally, he referred to the comedy show as "Shoshabaazi". He said this in the now-deleted live feed of Dank Rishu.

“Basically kya hota hai, dekh humne kaam kar liya, wahan jaakar yeh dikhana hota hai ke hum bahut bade hai. Shoshebaazi hai, junta ke saamne izzat ban jaati hai, bahut bade lagte hai, ghar pe jab maa baap dekhte hai, woh kehte hai ‘Woh The Kapil Sharma Show pe aaya tha,’ gali-kooche mein hawa ban jaati hai warna uska real-world value kuch nahi hai,” the rapper said.

“Celebrity social type waali item hai, matlab wahan chale gaye toh kuch achieve kar liya life mein. Baaki bank mein kuch ho na ho, Kapil Sharma ke ho jaao ek baari,” added Raftaar.

The fourth season of the show, according to several recent rumours, will come to its end in June. Although the show's creators haven't responded to the reports, Kapil Sharma has. As per reports, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ would be going on hiatus in the month of June. After the break, the squad will return with fresh formats, according to the source.

Kapil said, “It is not finalised yet. We have to go to the USA for our live tour in July and we will see what to do around that time. Having said that, even that’s too far.”

Kapil Sharma most recently appeared in the Nandita Das-directed movie 'Zwigato'. Shahana Goswami played the lead in the film, which came out last month. Additionally, his movie was also screened at the Busan International Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival, where it was well praised.
