Gaurav Tiwari, seen on various TV shows based on Supernatural activities like 'Bhoot Aaya' and 'MTV Haunted Nights' and who was the founder and CEO of Indian Paranormal Society was found dead in his Dwarka home on Thursday, July 7.
He was found lying on his bathroom floor with a thin black line across his neck. The police say that the cause of death was asphyxia, reports The Times of India.
The police is still conducting investigations and has not established a firm cause of death yet.
His family members said that around 11 am on Thursday, they heard a loud thud from the bathroom. They opened the door by force and found Tiwari lying on the floor. He was taken to a hospital but the doctors could not resuscitate him.
Gaurav's co host from MTV show, Rannvijay was shocked to hear this news and he mourned his death on Twitter. he wrote.... "I'm still shocked to hear that he is gone.. I pray that he rests in peace.."

Gaurav was once a commercial pilot and had visited over 6,000 ‘haunted’ locations across the world. He also investigated UFO abductions and mysterious creatures.
Tiwari was part of TV shows like Haunted Weekends with Sunny Leone and MTV’s Girl’s Night Out with VJ Ranvijay, Bhoot Aaya and Fear Files. He was also a part of movies 16 December and Tango Charlie.
