New Delhi: ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ actress Dipika Kakar is all set to star opposite popular TV actor Karan V Grover in Sandiip Sikcand’s upcoming show on Star Plus. The show has been making waves even before it goes on floors. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see Dipika back on their television screens. The beautiful actress defeated the likes of Sreesanth, Karanvir Bohra and Deepak Thakur to win Bigg Boss 12.

Dipika is now gearing up to make her comeback in the fiction genre. We had earlier informed you that the show has got the working title of ‘Pani Puri’.

As per the latest buzz, the makers of the show are busy roping in actors.

A report in an entertainment portal has suggested that Ashish Nayyar, Deepak Sandhu and Tanaaz Irani have joined the star cast of the show. The three actors will play pivotal roles in the show.

Tanaaz Irani was last seen in Nia Sharma and Ravi Dubey starrer ‘Jamai Raja’. The actress also participated in Bigg Boss 3 along with her husband Bakhtiyaar Irani.


‘Tumhari Disha’ fame actor Ashish Nayyar will play a fatherly role in the show.

Deepak Sandhu, who is known for his role in Parichay, will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar, the report said.

“The show will go on floor very soon,” a source told IWMBuzz.

Dipika and Karan’s next show on Star Plus is expected to be a romantic saga where the two protagonists are willing to give love another chance.
