Shweta Tiwari, the popular 'Prerna Sharma' of the original 2001 hit series 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' and the winner of 'Bigg Boss 4' has not only been one of the most beautiful actresses from the television industry, but has been known for her long luscious hair too. The mommy of a 16 year old daughter Palak Tiwari and a 2 yr old son Reyansh Kohli(with second husband Abhinav Kohli ) has however bid goodbye to her tresses and now dons a short haircut. Shweta, who was last seen in 'Begusarai', took to Instagram on Wednesday and shared her new look with fans.

Shweta did not reveal whether it is for a project but she does look stunning in her new short hair avatar. Take a look below:

Although the stunner looks absolutely gorgeous in this new look with shoulder-length hair but we are too eager to know if losing the tresses actually has some other reason! Are we going to see her donning this avatar in a show soon?

Shweta recently was in news for her reunion with her 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' 2001 co-stars which included Urvashi Dholakia aka 'Komolika' and othes like Tasneem Sheikh, Manish Goel, Poonam Narula Goel, Prachi Thakker, Naveen Saini and Manav Gohil. While actors Cezanne Khan and Ronit Roy missed the reunion bash held in Mumbai, the rest of the cast had a blast on as they met each other for a dinner after a long time.

Ekta Kapoor recenlty launched the reboot version of 'Kasuatii Zindagii Kay' casting Erica Fernandes in Shweta's role and Parth Samthaan portraying Anurag Basu while Hina Khan plays 'Komolika'. The show is having a decent run on Tv while it keeps social media buzzing constantly.

Coming back to the original Prerna..

Shweta's elder daugther Palak born to her ex-husband Raja Choudhary, was to make her Bollywood debut with Darsheel Safary's 'Quickie' but mommy shared in June last year that Palak cannot continue with it since she has her 12th class board exams. Check out her post below:
