According to a report published on an entertainment portal, the decision to pull the show, Ek Shringar Swabhimaan, was taken overnight despite of it performing well at the TRP charts.

We wonder what prompted the channel to do so, is Bigg Boss 11 the reason behind the show's closure? Well, might be as the show's slot is the same where Bigg Boss 11 will takeover.
Reportedly, the show's last episode will air this Friday (29th September) and the team is currently working on the happy ending track for the soap. The cast is expected to wrap up the shoot by coming Thursday. Lead actor Sangeita Chauhaan told the portal, "It's really unfair and unfortunate and we all are shattered with the news. It's not official yet and if at all its going to be true then I am going to miss the whole team. We all are like a family. Let's see where will the destiny take all of us."

Another actress of the show Ankitta Sharma added, "The off air news has come across very shocking to us. The entire cast is in tears. It is little weird that show is shutting as it is doing well and is being liked by masses."
