After 'Nach Baliye 8', in which 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' actress Divyanka Tripathi & hubby Vivek Dahiya took the winner's trophy home, the makers of popular celebrity dance reality show are set to being the show's ninth season on Star Plus. Rumors were rife that Hina Khan & beau Rocky Jaiswal might participate in 'Nach Baliye 9' however the couple has turned down the offer. Now according to latest reports, TV actress Kavita Kaushik & husband Ronnit Biswas are in talks to participate in the reality show.

For the uninitiated, Kavita had already participated in 'Nach Baliye 3' with her then boyfriend Karan V Grover and now the makers have approached her to participate with husband Ronnit.

Kavita confirmed being approached for 'Nach Baliye 9' and told Tellychakkar that, "Yes we’ve been approached for the show, but the chances of us taking it up are bleak because of my Punjabi film and my theatre debut."

Now, it has to be seen if Kavita & Ronnit will take out time from their schedules for the reality show or not.

To be produced by Salman Khan, 'Nach Baliye 9' will reportedly be hosted by Jennifer Winget & Sunil Grover. There are also reports that Shahid Kapoor & wife Mira Rajput might judge the dance show. However, it is yet to get confirmed.

Coming back to Kavita Kaushik, she reportedly made her TV debut in 2001 with 'Kutumb' post which she went on to feature in popular shows including 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii', 'Kumkum' among others. She became a household name after playing the lead role of female cop 'Chandramukhi Chautala' in SAB TV's much-loved show 'F.I.R.'. Last year, she made her debut in Punjabi cinema with the film 'Nanakana' and is currently busy with her next film.
