New Delhi: Dance-based reality shows fetch good TRPs and leading GECs including Colors TV and Zee TV are all set to launch ‘Dance Deewane 2’ and ‘Dance India Dance 7’ next month. Star Plus is also rumoured to bring back ‘Nach Baliye’ for a new season. TV’s Ishita aka Divyanka Tripathi and her husband Vivek Dahiya lifted the winner’s trophy of ‘Nach Baliye 8’ and now all eyes are on the upcoming season.


Speculations were rife that popular TV actress Jennifer Winget might host ‘Nach Baliye 9’ along with Sunil Grover. Fans were super excited to see the beautiful actress back on the small screen post ‘Bepannaah’.

However, a new report in an entertainment portal has suggested that Jennifer will no longer be seen in ‘Nach Baliye 9’ as host. Yes, you read that right.

Several changes have been made before the show goes on air. The makers are planning to launch ‘Nach Baliye 9’ in July.

Jennifer is getting replaced as the channel (Star Plus) wants to rope a popular host for the show rather than a daily soap actress in order to keep the viewers gripped, the report in SpotboyE said.

The channel is contemplating between Sunil Grover and Maniesh Paul and will lock either of them soon, the report added.

On the professional front, Jennifer Winget was last seen as Zoya in Colors TV’s ‘Bepannaah’ opposite Harshad Chopra. She is currently busy shooting for ALT Balaji’s ‘Code M’.


Jennifer is rumoured to be part of ‘Beyhadh’ season 2, which will go on-air post the culmination of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 11’.
