TV's popular 'naagin' Mouni Roy has finally made her Bollywood debut today as her first film 'Gold', opposite superstar Akshay Kumar, finally hit theaters today (15th August) on the occasion of India's 72nd Independence Day. The film is getting rave reviews and has got good opening too. One of the top TV actresses, Mouni has three more films in the pipeline after 'Gold' due to which there are speculations that she might leave Television due to her busy schedule. Now, Mouni has finally reacted on the same.

Here's a good news for the TV fans of Mouni Roy! The actress, who made her TV debut with Ekta Kapoor's super hit show 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', has denied leaving Television.

Speaking about the same, Mouni told DNA that, "I am never leaving TV. I am a very proud television actor and it has given me everything and has made me who I am today. So I have extreme love and regards for television."

This will surely make her fans happy who are missing seeing her on the small-screen.

On the Bollywood front, Mouni has also signed  'RAW' (Romeo Akbar Walter) opposite John Abraham, 'Made In China' with Rajkummar Rao and Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer 'Brahmastra'. Also, she will be seen in ALTBalaji's upcoming web-series 'Mehrunissa'.

Speaking about her debut film 'Gold', Mouni is playing the role of Akshay Kumar's character Tapas Das' wife. Directed by 'Talaash' fame Reema Kagti, 'Gold' also features Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor and Vineet Kumar Singh in important characters.
