Charu Asopa, who is best known for her roles in shows like 'Mere Angne Mein', 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' and 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', exchanged wedding vows with Sushmita Sen's brother Rajeev Sen this year on 16th June in Goa in the presence of their families and close-friends. The much-in-love couple tied the knot in traditional Rajasthani as well as Bengali ceremonies and are in a happy space since then. The talented actress is currently in her hometown to attend her brother Chetan Asopa's wedding.


Yesterday (13th November), Charu Asopa took to her social media account and shared pictures from her brother's pre-wedding rituals. In the pictures, Charu is looking beautiful in a pink lehenga as she is seen performing a ritual with a pot on her head.

Posting the pictures on Instagram, Charu wrote, "Vighno ko harna mangal karna, Karaj sidh kar jana , mere ghar main padharo gajanandji... Shree ganeshaye namah.. #sadeveerediweddinghaiji @chetanasopa #humladkewalehain"

On the professional front, Charu Asopa made her TV debut in a negative role in Zee TV's much-acclaimed show 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo' and went on to play pivotal roles in various popular shows including 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain', 'Devon Ke Dev ...Mahadev' and 'Tashan-e-Ishq'.

Whereas, Rajeev Sen is now all set to make his acting debut and has bagged his first project. He has bagged an important role in Ullu App's upcoming web-series titled 'Peshawar' also featuring Ashmit Patel, Aadarsh Balakrishna, Rushad Rana among others.
