TV actress Malvi Malhotra, who was allegedly stabbed thrice by a stalker for rejecting his marriage proposal, underwent plastic surgery in Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital, a report in ETimes said. She told the portal that people, who were cycling on the road brought her to the hospital after the accused attacked her thrice with a knife.

Malvi said that the accused Yogesh Mahipal Singh wanted to injure her face but she kept her hand on the face to avoid injuries but the knife wounded her right hand while she was protecting herself. She added that Yogesh continued to harass her even when she went to Dubai. The 29-year-old actress alleged that he stalked her from different numbers even after she blocked him.

"After my meeting which happened at a cafe in Seven Bunglows (Andheri), I was walking back home since my home is just 5 minutes away from that coffee shop. Suddenly, Yogesh came in a car and said that I should talk to him and why I was avoiding him. I told him to stop the tamasha. Instead, he got down from the car and stabbed me in my stomach. The fingers region in my left hand also got inflicted with bruises. I went down on the ground as I had started to bleed profusely," Malvi told the portal.

The actress, who is receiving treatment at the hospital, didn't inform her parents and close friends about the producer's harassment. Her parents are expected to reach Mumbai in a day or two, the report said.

Malvi said that she never thought that Yogesh would commit such an act. She further told the portal that the fingers of her left hand are not moving. The actress revealed that she received a knife incision of 1.5 inches in her stomach.

Her close friend Prashant Bajaj, who has provided rock solid support to the actress, told the portal that she is deep pain after the incident. He added that Malvi thinks that someone is inserting a knife into her mouth even when she sleeps for a while.

The victim requested Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and National Commission for Women (NCW) chief Rekha Sharma to lend her support after the brutal attack.
