Love Ka Hai Intezaar: Shamita Shetty FAILED in audition, Sanjeeda Sheikh bagged lead role!

Star Plus is going through a major programming change to maintain the top position in TRP ratings. Recently, the channel re-introduced the afternoon slot with four new shows and now another TV show titled 'Love Ka Hai Intezaar', starring Sanjeeda Sheikh & 'Bigg Boss' fame Keith Sequeira in lead roles, is all set for its launch. But did you know that, not Sanjeeda but 'Mohabbatein' actress Shamita Shetty was first approached for the role of Bollywood diva 'Kamini Mathur' in the show. Shamita Shetty Reportedly, the actress also gave an audition for the show, but Shamita failed the audition and the makers dropped her from the upcoming show. This actor’s look for his show ‘Love Ka Hai Intezaar’ inspired from Fawad Khan’s ‘Khoobsurat’ character! According to a leading daily, "Shamita was approached to play the female lead in a TV show. She had to portray the role of Kamini Mathur, a Bollywood superstar, in the show. The actress failed the audition and was subsequently dropped from the show. While the makers had initially felt that she would be a perfect fit for the role, they were not impressed by her audition." Though the report doesn't mention the name of the show of the TV actress who finally bagged the lead role. It is very much evident that TV actress Sanjeeda Sheikh, known for shows like 'Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka?', 'Kayamath', 'Ek Hasina Thi' among others, replaced Shamita in the show.
