The very popular Zee TV show 'Kumkum Bhagya' is set to take a leap of 20-25 years soon and the new line up of actors playing the next young generation on the show has been making headlines for past few days. Balaji Telefilms show which premiered exactly 5 years ago, starred Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia in lead roles of Pragya and Abhi. We told you already that one of the leading ladies as one twin daughter of the couple post leap is Splitsvilla 10 winner Naina Singh and while the actress who would play the other daughter was reportedly Kirtida Mistry(‘Piya Rangrezz’ fame), new reports suggest it is 'Prithviraj Chauhan' actress Mugdha Chaphekar. Mugdha plays Prachi while Naina plays 'Rhea'.


While the ladies' names are almost finalised, everyone wants to know who are the male leads opposite them.

Earlier it was reported that Bigg Boss fame Priyanka Sharma who's currently seen in web series 'Puncch Beat', is approached for the show but he denied the reports exclusively talking to Filmymonkey. Later it was reported that his co-actor Siddharth Sharma is set to play his twin brother.

And now the latest reports claim that NOTA[None Of The Above] but it is their co-actor again from 'Puncch Beat' who has been roped in to play of the male leads on the show. Seen also in 'Roadies', actor Krishna Kaul is being seen as 'Roy Malhotra' on 'Puncch Beat' currently.


Sources inform Iwmbuzz , “Krishna who was recently seen in the super-successful ALTBalaji and Vikas Gupta series Puncch Beat in the role of Roy Malhotra has been given the nod by the channel and Ekta to play the new generation male lead on the show.”


With the third name making rounds from 'Puncch Beat', doesn't it look like, the makers are looking for a reunion of the high school romantic drama team on 'Kumkum Bhagya' post leap!

According to the buzz regarding the story right before the leap, Both Abhi and Pragya will part ways with the husband carrying his one twin daughter and wife with another and moving to Punjab with her.
